The roof was in extremely poor condition, exhibiting significant rust that led to multiple leaks. We provided the customer with the best options for addressing the damaged roof.

We started by removing the old roof and flashing. After the removal, we installed new metal battens to ensure maximum support for the roof. We also added new flashing, including a box gutter and soaker tray flashing, since the previous roof design allowed water to flow into the tile roof and eaves, resulting in numerous leaks over time.

Once the flashing was in place, we prepared the roof sheets by weather folding them. Prior to this, we installed a new 55 mm roofing blanket to enhance energy efficiency during both summer and winter. After the blanket was secured, we proceeded to install the roof sheets, followed by additional flashing, including barge flashing, chimney flashing, and apron flashing.

As always, we meticulously pre-measured the roof and flashing components to ensure the project could be completed within a few days, preventing any missing elements.
