We encountered a very old roof in certain areas, while other sections had been replaced. However, the entire roof did not meet standards and featured a non-compliant box gutter that was ineffective. We began by removing the roof sheets and re-pitched the roof to ensure it met the minimum pitch requirement, successfully achieving an overall pitch greater than 2.5. Additionally, we completed all necessary timber work to meet our standards.

We replaced the lower gutter, which spanned over 22 meters and had a downpipe located at the far end, causing water to travel across the house before reaching it. We also removed the non-functional side gutter and installed barge capping to cover the existing gutter and fascia. This significantly improved the roof drainage, effectively future-proofing the roof.
