Box Gutter & Rain Head, Ivenho
The box gutter for two units was replaced due to the deterioration of the old rusty box gutter, which was retaining water and had reached the end of its functional life. We installed a new, custom-made Colorbond box gutter and adjusted its slope accordingly. The previous configuration included a built-in downpipe connected to the base of the box gutter; we installed a new rainhead and connected the downpipe to rainhead. This configuration offers advantages, as it prevents the downpipe from becoming blocked and includes an overflow system that manages rainwater accumulation in the box gutter, particularly in situations where the downpipe may become obstructed. Upon completion of the box gutter installation, we fitted a new Colorbond fascia cover and capping to finalize the project.
